What we test

An Information Disclosure Review is a passive, non-invasive information gathering exercise. The review is performed without directly engaging with your network or systems, utilising a range of effective open source gathering tools (e.g. Maltego, Spiderfoot, Shodan) to gather information.

The review can be divided into four key phases.

  • Company Information: we research the company (name variations, mergers, associated websites) along with key members of staff
  • Network Analysis: a paper-based review of your network including DNS registration, sub-domain analysis, network and system mapping, scans of address space and host identification
  • Internet Footprint: passive techniques to identify source code leaks and vulnerabilities in visible resources and services. Social media and other online sources are used to gather information on key personnel
  • Exploitation: a non-invasive assessment using open source information to discover lists of known exploitable weaknesses in your network and hosts, along with unauthorised routes into the target network
